Reflexology Sessions

dreamstime_foot.jpg

Reflexology sessions are 60 minutes and they include a hot foot bath using medicinal plant essences. Specific reflex points are worked on the feet, hands and ears, related to the clients needs. It is based on the principle that there are energy zones running throughout the body and that by applying pressure to specific reflex points on the feet and hands, we can release energy blocks along these pathways, thus effecting the corresponding organs, glands and body parts within that zone.

Reflexology can benefit anyone dealing with: stress related issues, insomnia, chronic pain, migraines, plantar fascitis, feelings of being disconnected and or ungrounded, creative blocks, low energy and feeling overwhelmed.

It is advised to come on a regular weekly basis for the first 5 or 6 sessions to allow Reflexology to begin to help balance your body's systems and help with any specific needs.

Think of the magic of that foot, comparatively small, upon which your whole weight rests. It's a miracle, and the dance…is a celebration of that miracle. —Martha Washington

Testimonials

I met Janet Dailey through my cardiologist who felt that different types of therapy and treatment would help my health. Reflexology has helped me to relax and handle most of my anxieties. It is the most relaxing hour I spend each week. I think that reflexology is for everyone, especially for people with a type A personality.

Janet Dailey is a loving, professional practitioner who has found her calling in reflexology. Janet's approach to my feet is thoughtful, caring and thorough. My health and welfare and the comfort of my feet are top priority. Through Janet I've been educated about not only the physiology of my feet but also about footwear and walking. She has inspired me to treat myself well.

I originally came to reflexology because of plantar fasciitis, and Janet was recommended by my primary care doctor. I had had no real success with physical therapy for this condition and it was getting worse. After six weeks of reflexology, I was greatly improved to the point I no longer winced with pain each morning as I walked from my bed. After two years, I am still a client of Janet’s but more importantly she has become a friend. I find my sessions with her to be therapeutic on so many levels. My general health has improved, and I find that my hour long sessions are meditative, mind cleansing and spirit enriching. Janet has such a kind heart and an equally loving spirit, and I find my time with her to be a gift. —I.H.
